A leading IT consulting company in Winnipeg, providing a wide range of services including Managed IT, Cyber Security, Digital Transformation, and Telecommunications across Canada and the US, is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, you will be responsible for managing large, complex projects and fostering effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.
This role is Hybrid, requiring a combination of remote work and in-office presence in Winnipeg.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project scopes, objectives, and project plans, ensuring technical feasibility and resource allocation.
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance, report and escalate to management as needed, and perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Manage relationships with the client, all stakeholders, and third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience in project management.
- Scale: Proven ability to manage medium to large-scale projects involving teams of 12 or more (e.g., ERP, cloud mitigations, cybersecurity) on time and within budget.
- Certification (Required): PMP / PRINCE II certification.
- Certification (Asset): Agile Certification (PMI-ACP, ICAgile, or Scrum certification) is a strong asset.
- Technical Knowledge (Plus): A technical background with understanding or experience in IT infrastructure, O365 deployment, and Enterprise-wide projects.
- Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of multiple project management methodologies (Traditional, Hybrid, and Agile), excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $85,000 to $90,000 Base + Other benefits.
