Delivery Manager SEO Toronto

Our client, a top 5 bank in Canada, is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager for a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension. Based in Toronto with a hybrid work schedule (1 day per week onsite), you will be responsible for aiding the execution and enhancement of the company’s SEO strategy within Canada, ensuring all digital projects are optimized for organic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Research: Take responsibility for aiding the execution and enhancement of the company’s SEO strategy. Conduct regular, in-depth keyword research, evaluate search trends, and offer actionable insights.
• Technical Assessment: Assess technical SEO issues such as site architecture and URL structures, and recommend solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively across teams to ensure new pages and projects are optimized for search engines from launch.
• Content Guidance: Assist the content team with ideation, development, design, and delivery, providing guidance on technical implementation through detailed content briefs.
• Reporting: Develop relevant metrics for SEO projects, track progress against objectives, and generate reports to communicate performance.
• Innovation: Contribute to designing SEO experiments and testing tactics for organic growth opportunities.
• Risk Management: Recognize the importance of the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in daily activities and decisions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of digital marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, SEO, and digital content strategies and execution.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related area.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• SEO Tools: 5+ years experience with SEO Tools such as Ahrefs, Clearscope, OnCrawl, Screaming Frog, or similar, plus Google Search Console knowledge.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in a Financial Institution is required.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills.

Compensation and Work Details

• Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid: 1 day per week onsite).
• Pay Rate: $38 per hour.
• Duration: 12-month contract (with possibility of extension).
